A very rough way to remove acrylic nails

Before nail technicians send me messages about how bad this information is, in my defense, this is just a recording of a method of removal I tried and lived through, so I wanted to share with other people who, for one reason or another, can't go to a salon for removal or fine it too cumbersome to file down the gel topcoat and soak in acetone. I just got very sick of my badly grown-out acrylic, so I used a tip to slide between the acrylic and my nail to remove it. Try it at your own risk, and if it hurts, it probably means your nail is not thick enough to withstand the pressure, so a salon might be the best way. Thanks for watching :)

o m g, stop your bitching! she said it’s not for everyone. i go a similar way to take off my nail, it’s painful, yes, but it gets the job done. either ways, THE DAMN NAIL CAME OFF lol.

STOP CURSING HER OUT BECAUSE OF SHE CAN DO THINGS YOU NEVER THOUGH OF.

This was how I got my gel nails off. It worked for me and actually caused LESS damage than when I went to a salon that soaked them until my cuticles bled and it took close to 2 hours. It’s not about the money it’s also sometimes about convenience. For the nail techs giving this lovely girl hell — You ladies are first class bitches. You could PM her instead of cussing her out. Also the manner in which you carry yourself is so damn unprofessional it just makes people feel the need to do things o

Damn these people need to stop being soooo imature. Thanks for the video.

@TheLittlechick13 haha people need to chill out!

  16. TheLittlechick13 says:

omg u all know that she gets that she is damaging her nails and all of u techs are right about the things that ur saying but i think that one person telling her that is enough not a bunch telling her the same thing and there is no need to use that language i dont even see this as an offence anyways

@krstnaterry This was my first time getting my nails touched up and I had as little clue as the nail tech who worked on me. I’m glad you uphold higher standards, but that’s no reason to get so worked up! Stuff happens!! lol

  18. krstnaterry says:

CAN YOU SAY nO F*N BRAIN = NO F* PAIN!!!!!!????? hunny.. as nail techs we are the ones who want to help you the right way….if you’re so damn worried about money dont get your nails done to start with, if you complaining about cost for having them removed, or filled or even put on, then dont get them at all!! having enhancements (not fake nails) is high maintainence…obviously you dont care about yourself enough to keep up to that standard…..so get over yourself!!

  19. pamcakes987 says:

Wow i could have done this… i took my nails off with a hair clip and hot water:(

  20. ProutySweet says:

@countrybabe561 it’s not about pain, get over yourself. It’s about ruining your nails, don’t blame nail techs when you want you choose to be a stupid ass then. I don’t give a rats ass what you do. Nor do I give a shit what you think.. Toodles.

  21. countrybabe561 says:

@ProutySweet Oh my gosh! get over yourself and read the damn description! We don’t care if you are a nail tech! We don’t wanna spend the money when we could just do it at home! We aren’t sissys so we can handle a little pain.

All the times ive had acrylic nails i have removed them this way and my nails get back to its strong natural nail after, you just have to use nail strengthner and take real good care of your natural nails. The salons I have gone 2 done the same. Plus I have no choice because I am allergic to acetone so i find this a great way to remove my acrylic nails.

  23. ChristopherAlan24 says:

thats how my nail tech does it too it hurts lol but wayy easy :)

  24. ProutySweet says:

Looks like I am not the only tech in the comments who’s eyes started buggin out then. I still hope no one does what your showing them. Might be better to show them this is what not to do, instead of saying, this is what your going to want to do. First words you say when you put the tip to your nail. Ouch, ouch ouch.

  25. wheat636 says:

@ProutySweet They did hurt, and that’s why I made this video to show people what some nail salons do. I am not giving them a bad name because I am not a nail technician who practices this rough method, and I do not think it’s acceptable. When I go to a salon that pries nails off, I make sure to let my friends know and only recommends salons that practice only safe nail removal methods.
